What To Do For Easter With Kids

As the holiday approaches, you might wonder, “What to do for Easter With Kids?”

Here are some activities you can do on the day of or days before the actual holiday. I would encourage the day before or days before as the day f tends to be booed with festivities, eating, and church.

Here Are Three Things To Do For Easter If You Have Kids:

1. Paint your eggs! I promise you this is far better than just dying your eggs as it allows your kids to be more active with the eggs. Dying the egg is very short, and kids will lose interest after a couple of eggs. However, you only need one egg to paint and hold their attention longer! They are also more creative and excellent if you ask me!

2. Go on an easter egg hunt! You do not have to wait for Easter to do an easter egg hunt. You can have a hunt in your backyard or even your house. If you don’t want to put in the work, there are always local churches and parks putting free easter egg hunts. Make sure to look them up and check them out. It’s always a great time to meet new people, be around the community and your kid, and experience other kids.

3. Make an easter basket! This year was my first year making an easter basket, which was so fulfilling. Most people put a lot of candy in their plastic eggs, so I avoided sweets as my son would already have gotten some from the egg hunt. Making an easter basket full of crafts and activities is the way to go! They enjoy the whole basket instead of pacing themselves because of the amount of sweets. Here are some ideas to include in your easter basket:

Bubbles

Stickers

Tattoos

Playdough

Dollar tree toys

Kite

Cars

Slime

Book

Snack (does not have to be candy)

I have many more ideas I’m excited to do next year, but here are the basics for this year! I hope you enjoyed and had a fantastic Easter weekend.

Happy Easter!
